EMU Marketing develops, implements, and directs marketing, communication, and branding programs for the EMU and its diverse enterprises. This includes research, assessment, strategic planning, advertising, promotion, public relations and web development.

In order to give students a real world experience, EMU Marketing operates like a small business that specializes in marketing, graphic design and web development.

We strive for a collaborative work environment where student staff lead client meetings, work together on projects, and mentor and learn from each other. This environment encourages students to explore their passions and learn new skills. it provides them a learning experience that compliments, and sometimes exceeds, their academic pursuits while preparing them for the work place.

The Erb Memorial Union is the community center of the University of Oregon and an integral part of its educational environment. A department of the Division of Student Affairs, the EMU enriches the educational, cultural and recreational opportunities for the UO community and offers students extracurricular activities that are an important component of their education.
