Student Learning

Student Learning

Students who join the EMU Marketing staff bring differing levels of skills. One thing they all have in common is an eagerness to develop these skills and acquire new ones.

Programming students who have limited knowledge in HTML and CSS coding, are learning to develop professional grade web solutions, write code for complex dynamic websites and maintain the servers they run on.

Design students who want to work in the web world are learning site hierarchy and useability, how to translate their design into HTML and CSS and the art of collaborating with programmers, all necessary skills for today's web designers.

Students are also learning collaboration and mentoring. They work together on projects, share their knowledge and learn from each other. While they have their individual areas of expertise, they work collaboratively to produce the desired results.

This growth request will ensure the continuation of this high level of learning that compliments, and often exceeds, students' academic pursuits and better prepares them for the work place.
