INTERACTIVE DESIGN: EMU Marketing Exhibit
INTERACTIVE DESIGN showcases projects student and professional staff executed this past year. It also highlights academic and personal projects student staff produced using skills they acquired while working at EMU Marketing.
- The small display cases feature: personal and class work done by staff; a retrospective of the designer’s posters and a slide show of their website collaborations with the programmers; and the fun side of programming, [like colored arcade buttons where viewers can create a digital painting using algorithmic code, a programmer's real-time GPS tracking, and a customized wordle using Google's hourly top search terms displayed on a wall of four monitors].
- The 34′ wall features the designer’s inspiration to completion for three projects, including slide shows and video.
- The 17′ display case features a visual representation of the 48,481 lines of code written for a customized point of sale, accounting, and inventory management system.
- Viewers can currently comment on the show using a virtual keyboard at the show or by text message. And the photos of the artists are rendered in ASCII Art.
Show runs through Nov 13th
